Manual Extract Engine –
All MF1105 and MF1135 Models are equipped with a turbocharged, six cylinder Perkins Diesel engine having a
bore of 3-7 /8 inches (98.43mm) a stroke of 5 inches (127mm) and a displacement of 354 cubic inches (5801cc).
R&R ENGINE WITH CLUTCH
To remove the engine and clutch as a unit, first drain cooling system and if engine is to be disassembled, drain oil pan.
NOTE: Be careful to prevent entry of dirt or other foreign particles into any of the oil, hydraulic or fuel lines that must be disconnected for removal of the engine.
Disconnect batteries and remove hood and all hood side panels. Refer to Figs. 30 and 31. Remove the two oil lines between engine oil cooler and oil filter adapter. Disconnect hydraulic oil lines and electrical connector at rear of engine. Disconnect or remove priority valve oil supply line. Disconnect air inlet and radiator hoses. Remove the axle support and axle to prevent tipping sideways and support front end and engine separately. Remove the 6 capscrews attaching front axle support to engine adapter plates and oil pan.
