Manual Extract INSPECTION OF STEERING LINKAGE:

• Check the tire inflation pressure of all four wheels, which must be the same ( Refer to “operation and maintenance manual” for specified pressure.) and place the machine on paved level ground and carry out following inspection.

1. Start engine and straighten both of front and rear frames by turning steering wheel. Apply safety bar on frame and stop the engine. Parking brake must be applied.

2. Check bolts and nuts of linkage for looseness and drug link ball joint for deflection. * A t this time, confirm that pitman arm is in right angle against the ground.

3. Start engine, and remove safety bar. Turn steering wheel until pitman arm contacts to the stopper (5).
Then, measure clearance  between front and rear frame stoppers. The clearance should be 12.7 ± 6 mm.
