This manual (CTM284) is written for an experienced technician. Essential tools required in performing certain service work are identified in this manual and are recommended for use. This manual covers only Level 1 Electronic Fuel Systems with the Delphi (Lucas) DP201 injection pump. It is one of six volumes on 4.5 L and 6.8 L engines. The following five companion manuals cover the repair, operation and diagnostics for the base engine and various electronic and mechanical fuel systems. These 6 volumes are included in the binder set (CTM350). The following two companion manuals cover the base engine and mechanical fuel system repair, operation and diagnostics:
