After having carefully read this manual, you will realize that much of the routine maintenance can be done by yourself. Machines must be disassembled and assembled efficiently and safely. It is very important to thoroughly understand the construction and function of the machine, to make all appropriate preparations, and start operations according to the specified working procedures in R320S, R320SB Wheel Loader workshop service manual.

MEASUREMENT OF HYDRAULIC DEVICE PERFORMANCE

Measurement Procedure
1. Jack up the vehicle and support both axles with jack stands.
Tires must not touch the ground.
DANGER
• No one may approach the Kubota R320S or R320SB Wheel Loader during testing.
2. After disconnecting the hoses between the LST pump and the LST motor, attach hoses to the flow meter as shown in the photograph at left.
CAUTION
• Be careful not to make a mistake in the direction of hose connections or in the direction of travel of the loader.
(If misconnected, the flow meter, LST pump and/or LST motor will be damaged.)
3. Open the loading valve of the flow meter, start the engine at idle speed and make sure there are no leaks.
4. Take the engine to max rpm and with the machine under no load, read the flow and engine rpm.
5. While gradually closing the loading valve, exert the rated load pressure (test pressure) on the pump and read the flow and engine rpm.
