This manual and illustrations relate specifically to the heat exchanger cooled version of the marine engine. A supplement to this manual, for keelcooled applications will be forthcoming.All specifications and torque values are given in English and metric measurements. Most fasteners used in the construction and retention of the marine hardware are English, while the base E7 engine is metric. This should be considered in tool selection during disassembly and reassembly. The Special Tools list has been revised to include all special tools required for a complete overhaul.
