DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY KOMATSU LOADER WB140PS-2N and WB150PS-2N

This section explains the order to be followed when removing, installing, disassembling or assembling each component, as well as precautions to be taken for these operations.

When removing covers which are under internal pressure or under pressure from a spring, always leave two bolts in position on opposite sides. Slowly release the pressure, then slowly loosen the bolts to remove.

FRONT BUCKET TILT CYLINDERS KOMATSU WB140PS-2N and WB150PS-2N

 

1. Loosen the clips (1) and remove the tube protection (2).
For the right-hand cylinder only
Disconnect the sensor (3) and remove the bucket position rod (4).

2. Support the cylinder (5) with a sling. Insert a block A between the spacer (6) of the piston fulcrum lever (7) and the link (8).

3. Take off the snap ring and the internal retaining spacer for the piston attachment pin (9).

4. Take out the pin (9).

5. Start the engine to retract the piston (10).
Bind the piston head with wire to secure the fully retracted position.
Stop the engine.
