DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY KOMATSU Excavator

This section explains the order to be followed when removing, installing, disassembling or assembling each component, as well as precautions to be taken for these operations.

Installation of arm cylinder
(1) Remove the stopper plate fixed to the boom, then remove the arm cylinder foot pin.
Arm cylinder foot pin: 92.9 kg
(2) Raise the arm cylinder and align the position with the hole in the boom.
(3) Knock in the arm cylinder foot pin.
Inside of bushing: Anti-friction compound (LM-PI)
(4) Install the stopper plate.
