STRUCTURE, FUNCTION AND MAINTENANCE STANDARD
This section explains the structure and function of each component. It serves not only to give an understanding of the
structure, but also serves as reference material for troubleshooting. In addition, this section gives the judgement standards
when inspecting disassembled parts.

TESTING AND ADJUSTING
This section explains checks to be made before and after performing repairs, as well as adjustments to be made at
completion of the checks and repairs.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshooting charts correlating Problems to Causes are also included in this section.

DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
This section explains the order to be followed when removing, installing, disassembling or assembling each component,
as well as precautions to be taken for these operations.

OTHER
This section has the foldout drawings for the machine.

Adjusting Track Shoe Tension

If the track shoe tension is not normal, adjust as follows.
1. Remove cover .
2. If tension is too high:
Loosen plug (1) and release some of the grease.
There is danger that the plug may fly out under the high internal pressure of the grease, so never loosen the plug more than 1 turn.
3. If tension is too low:
Pump in grease through grease fitting (2).
– If the track tension is poor, move the machine backwards or forwards slowly.
– After completion of the adjustment, repeat the above procedure to check the tension again.
