Manual Extract: Strainers

If dusts enter the circuit, the expansion valve may be clogged, the compressor may be damaged, and the cooling function may be deteriorated.
Strainers are provided to prevent dusts from flowing with in the refrigerant.
The strainers cannot be cleaned. When they are considerably clogged (in this case, the high pressure
increases and the low pressure decreases), the entire receiver dryer should be replaced.
