Manual Extract –

The active transport control system (ATC) considerably reduces the shocks due to mounted implements when running on rough ground, ex: furrows, pot-holes, etc ….
It consists of an accumulator (damper) precharged with nitrogen and a solenoid valve connected to the feed pipe of both lift rams.

The solenoid valve is actuated through a push button switch situated on the control panel in the cab.
This push button is only active when the lift/lower switch on the ELC control panel is moved to lift position.

Operation
When the system is on, the solenoid valve is open and the accumulator (damper) is connected to the supply oil of both lift rams. Pressure peaks caused by the implement’s oscillations are dampened by the accumulator. Driving becomes easier and both implement and chassis are protected from damage.
When the system is off, there is no dampening effect but the pressure is limited by the shock valve of the lift control valve (opening pressure: 210 bar).
By design the accumulator pressure is never higher than the pressure in the lift rams.
