Manual Extract – Control pressure

Fendt 924, 927, 930, 933, 936 Vario Control pressure

Once the diesel engine has started, oil flows from the auxiliary pump to the pilot control pressure compensator (DWP) and via the pilot control pressure filter (DFP) to the pilot pressure control valve (DRVP).

The pilot pressure compensator (DWP) is closed by the spring force. If a pressure of 10 bar (145 psi) is applied to the pressure compensator, this hydraulic force is exerted via the control line and pushes the pressure compensator against the spring force to the right. The pressure compensator opens and the oil can flow to steering non-return valve 2 (RVL2) and the steering priority valve (PVL).

The pressure is regulated to 22 bar (319 psi) bar at the pilot pressure control valve (DRVP) and applied to the pilot pressure solenoid valve (MVP).
The pilot pressure solenoid valve opens when actuated and the pilot pressure is applied to the pilot control valves. The pilot pressure is also applied to the right-hand side of the pressure compensator and pushes the pressure compensator together with the spring force to the left.

This increases the pressure in front of the pressure compensator (control line) until it exceeds the sum of the spring force and pilot pressure and pushes the pressure compensator further to the right until it opens.
NOTE: The pilot pressure (DRVP) of 22 bar (319 psi) is also increased further by the return pressures in the middle or rear of the valve stack
